Herakles & His Twelve Labors
These paintings were commissioned by Bear Wolf Books, to illustrate their adaptation of the Labors of Herakles for readers of all ages. I worked closely with author Catherine Gyllerstrom to capture her vision for the characters and their world, recasting gods and monsters of the Greek pantheon as woodland animals of every size, in a story as much about finding family as about the legendary feats of cunning, daring, and strength.
